Preheat oven to 375° F.
In a large bowl combine the eggs, milk and onion. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in the bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Add ground beef, mix well. With wet hands, shape the mixture into forty-eight 2-inch meatballs. Place in two jelly roll pans. Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Drain away the grease.
On top of stove in a Dutch oven combine pork & beans, tomatoes, corn, tomato sauce, Pioneer Golden Light Brown Sugar, molasses and mustard. Bring to a boil.
Cut the sausages into thirds. Divide the sausages and cooked meatballs between two 3-quart casserole dishes. Turn half of the bean mixture into each. Stir to combine.
Bake uncovered for 1 ½ hours stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese and bake until the cheese melts (2-3 minutes).
