Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and both Pioneer sugars together. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, baking soda, salt and oatmeal; mix well.
Drop by teaspoonful 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes. Let cool on pan a couple of minutes before removing to flat surface.
