Sweet Ice Tea Syrup

  • 6 C water
  • 5 C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 20 tea bags


  1. In a large pot add the water and Pioneer® Sugar; bring to a boil. Add the tea bags and continue to boil for 10 minutes over medium heat. Turn off heat and remove the tea bags with a slotted spoon and discard. Let the syrup cool completely.
  2. Pour syrup into a jar or seal-able container. Keep in the refrigerator.
  3. To serve: measure ½ cup of syrup to 1 quart of water and ice. Garnish with lemon, lime or orange slices.

Cooks Note

To make 1 quart of syrup 3 C water, 2 ½ C Pioneer® Sugar and 10 tea bags.
