Sugar and Spice Nuts

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 1 T pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ C + 1 T (heaping) Pioneer® Sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 C whole almonds or pecans or both


  1. Preheat oven to 300° F.
  2. In a mixing bowl beat egg white, water, pumpkin pie spice, Pioneer® Sugar and salt until blended. Add nuts and stir until coated. Spread onto a greased 10 x 13-inch pan and bake for about 20 minutes, stirring to separate nuts every 5 minutes. Bake until nuts are dry. Remove from oven and pour nuts onto wax paper to cool and dry. Store in airtight container.
