Spinach & Romaine Salad
Ingredients
Salad:
- 1 can oranges, drained
- 1 glass jar artichokes, drained and cut up
- 1 can large black olives, drained
- Spinach
- Romaine
- ¼ lb. Gruyere cheese, grated
Dressing:
- ⅓ C Pioneer® Sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- fresh ground pepper (couple of twists)
- 1 T sesame seeds
- 1 T grated onion
- 1 C oil
- ⅓ C red wine vinegar
Directions
- In a large salad bowl toss oranges, artichokes, black olives, spinach and romaine together. Add cheese and toss until combined.
- In a salad shaker mix Pioneer® Sugar, mustard, salt, ground pepper, sesame seeds, grated onions, oil and vinegar; shake well.
- Right before serving pour dressing onto prepared salad to taste.
Cook's Note
If you are not serving immediately cover loosely and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
