So Sweet Carrots

  • 6 C sliced carrots
  • water
  • 1 lg. onion, sliced in rings or as desired
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 1 C oil
  • ¾ C vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard


  1. In a saucepan cook carrots in water until just tender; drain.
  2. In large bowl, add tomato soup, Pioneer® Sugar, oil, vinegar, salt and dry mustard; mix well. In serving dish add carrots and onions, pour the other ingredients over the top. Marinate overnight. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
