Saucy Orange Pork Chops

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 ½ C hot water
  • 3 T cornstarch
  • ¾ C Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • ¼ C cider vinegar
  • 1 T Worcestershire sauce
  • juice from an orange


  1. Trim excess fat from the pork chops. Brown chops on both sides in skillet.
  2. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water, add cornstarch and mix until smooth. Add Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar, salt, pepper, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and juice of orange; mix well.
  3. Drain fat from chops. Pour sauce over pork and cover and simmer for 1 hour.

Cook's Note

If you would prefer to bake instead, heat oven to 325° and bake for 1 hour.
