Quick & Easy Cheese Danish

  • 1 tube Pillsbury® crescent seamless dough sheet
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓ C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 1 egg yolk


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Lightly spray an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Unroll the sheet of dough and cut in half. Place one half in the bottom of the prepared pan; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese, Pioneer® Sugar and egg yolk together until creamy. Spread evenly over bottom dough in pan. Top with second sheet of dough. If desired sprinkle lightly with Pioneer® Sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cut into squares. Serve warm or chilled.


  1. Drizzle a little white glaze over Danish before serving. Add cherry pie filling as a layer before topping with dough. Mix drained, crushed pineapple to cream cheese when mixing.
  2. Recipe can be doubled and made in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
