  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) wide egg noodles, cooked as directed
  • 1 T vegetable oil
  • 2 red bell peppers cut into thin strips
  • 1 med. onion, cut in half then sliced thin
  • 1 lb. boneless sirloin, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 2 jars (15 oz.) cheese sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Place cooked noodles in the dish and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook onion and pepper until fork tender (4 – 5 minutes) in the vegetable oil. Add beef, salt and pepper; cook for another 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned. Drain liquid from pan.
  3. In a small pan, melt the cheese, or microwave for 1 minute. Spoon half of the cheese mixture over the noodles, top with beef mixture and then the rest of the cheese.
  4. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through.
