Peanut Butter Cake

  • ½ C milk
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 C water
  • 1 C peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 2 C flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt

Frosting Ingredients:

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 C peanut butter
  • 6 T milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 – 4 C Pioneer® Confectioners Powdered Sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Lightly grease a 10 ½ x 15-inch baking pan; set aside.
  2. In a small bowl add milk and vinegar together; set aside.
  3. In a microwave oven-proof bowl or saucepan on top of stove – melt butter, water and peanut butter together, stir until blended; remove from heat.
  4. In another small bowl add eggs and vanilla and mix together; set aside.
  5. In a large bowl add the Pioneer® Sugar, flour, baking soda and salt; stir. Add the milk, peanut butter and egg mixtures to the dry ingredients. Beat for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until testing tool comes out clean.  Remove from oven — frost with warm frosting. Enjoy!

Frosting Directions:

  1. Melt together butter, peanut butter, milk and vanilla in a sauce pan over medium heat. Add Pioneer® Confectioners Powdered Sugar and stir until the frosting is the consistency you want.
