Homemade Chocolate Marshmellow Brownies on a background

Marshmallow Cake Bars

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 C Pioneer® Sugar
  • 6 T cocoa
  • 1 C flour
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 jar (7 oz.) Marshmallow creme
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) butterscotch chips
  • 1 C crunchy peanut butter, melted
  • 3 C Rice Krispies®


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan; set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl cream together butter, eggs and Pioneer® Sugar.
  3. Add cocoa, flour, salt and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan.
  4. Bake 25 minutes *DO NOT OVER BAKE*. Remove from oven and immediately spread marshmallow creme on hot cake. Cool.
  5. Melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter in a large pot. Stir in Rice Krispies®. Spread on cooled cake. Store in refrigerator. Take out just before serving.
