  • 1 ½ lbs. salmon fillets, with skin
  • lemon pepper (to taste)
  • garlic powder (to taste)
  • salt (to taste)
  • ⅓ C soy sauce
  • ⅓ C Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar
  • ⅓ C water
  • ¼ C vegetable oil

  1. Season your salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder and salt (to your liking).
  2. In a small bowl combine soy sauce, Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar, water and vegetable oil, stir until sugar is dissolved. Place fish in a large sealable bag with the sugar mixture, seal and turn to coat the fish. Refrigerate for at least two hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates so the fish won’t stick. Place marinated salmon, skin side down, on the preheated grill and cook covered for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily. (Cook about 10-15 minutes for 1-inch fillet).
