  • 1 pork roast
  • ½ C Pioneer® Sugar
  • ½ C Michigan cherries – fresh or frozen
  • 2 C apple juice
  • 1 med. Michigan tart apple


  1. Place the pork roast in a crock-pot and add the Pioneer® Sugar, Michigan cherries and apple juice. Turn on low and cook for 6 to 8 hours. One hour before serving, slice Michigan tart apple and add to the crock-pot.

Cook's Note

This can be cooked in the oven, using the same directions except cook for 2 ½ hours at 350° F. Add apple ½ hour before serving.
