Cranberry Glogg

  • 4 C (1 quart) cranberry juice cocktail
  • ½ C golden raisins (optional)
  • 1 navel orange, thinly sliced into rounds or wedges
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 2 T Pioneer® Sugar or Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar (either as desired)


  1. Combine ingredients in a large pitcher, stir to mix well, cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  2. To serve, bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat and simmer 15 – 30 minutes. Discard the cloves.
  3. Serve in mugs, dividing the raisins and orange slices evenly among the servings. Garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.

Cooks Note

Tie cinnamon and cloves in a cheesecloth bag for easy removal or remove by straining. Also, adults might enjoy adding a splash of rum to each mug at serving time!
