Cran-Apple Pie

  • 3 C apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 can (16 oz.) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • ¾ C walnut pieces
  • ¼ C + 2 T Pioneer® Sugar
  • 1 T flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon, divided
  • 2 Pet-Ritz® deep dish pie crusts, frozen


  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. In large bowl, mix together apples, cranberry sauce, walnuts, ¼ cup Pioneer® Sugar, flour and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Pour into one frozen pie crust.
  3. In a separate bowl break and/or crumble the second frozen crust into very small pieces; mix with remaining 2 tablespoons Pioneer® Sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over pie filling. Bake for 50-55 minutes. Cool before serving.
