  • 1 tube saltine crackers (4 in box)
  • 1 C butter
  • 1 C + 2 T Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar
  • ½ pkg. (12 oz.) milk chocolate chips
  • toffee chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Line a cookie sheet with foil. Spray with cooking spray.
  2. Line the saltine crackers end to end on the prepared sheet.
  3. In a large pan melt the butter over low heat. Add Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar and turn up the heat to medium. When the mixture starts to boil, keep stirring and boil for 3 minutes.
  4. Mixture will foam up so make sure your pan is big enough.
  5. Pour mixture over crackers; spread evenly. Bake for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove and sprinkle chocolate chips over top as soon as possible. Let sit a couple of minutes then gently spread the chocolate over the caramel.
  7. Top with toffee chips and place in freezer for about 20 minutes. Once the toffee is set, break it up into chucks.

Cooks Note

We call it crack in part because of the saltine crackers but also because it is so addictive!
