  • 1 lb. stew meat
  • 1 T oil
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 jar (16 oz.) thick and chunky salsa
  • 1 can (15 oz.) Mexican style hot chili beans
  • 1 T Pioneer® Sugar


  1. In a large frying pan, cook stew meat in oil until brown; drain.
  2. Place meat in crock-pot and add diced tomatoes, salsa, chili beans and Pioneer® Sugar; stir.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat 8-10 hours or 4-6 on high. Stir occasionally.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips and top with grated cheddar cheese.
