  • ½ C Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese,softened
  • ½ lb. butter or margarine (2 sticks), softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 ½ C flour
  • 1 pkg. (12 oz.) miniature chocolate chips
  • 1 C walnuts, chopped (optional)
  • 1 to 2 C Pioneer® Confectioners Powdered Sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. In mixing bowl cream together with an electric mixer Pioneer® Golden Light Brown Sugar, cream cheese, butter, salt and vanilla. Add the egg and blend together well. Add the flour and mix with large spoon, add the miniature chocolate chips and nuts. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit on pan for a few minutes before removing to wire rack to cool.
  3. Put the Pioneer® Confectioners Powdered Sugar into a zip-lock plastic bag, add about 10-12 cookies at a time to the bag and shake carefully until cookies are coated. Remove from bag and set on waxed paper. Store as normal.
