Stump Hole Cake

  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 eggs, divided
  • 1 C pecans, finely chopped
  • 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 C Pioneer® Confectioners Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter, 1 egg and pecans. Press into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese, 2 eggs and Pioneer® Confectioners Powdered Sugar. Spread over the crust.
  4. Bake for 50-55 minutes. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature. Serve topped with Cool Whip.
